Elizabethtown High School ranked 16th out of 230 Kentucky high schools on the 2011 Kentucky testing!
EHS serves grades 9-12 and meets the needs of all students through a broad and varied curriculum, a wide range of co-curricular activities, innovative as well as traditional methods of teaching and a counseling program. A charter member of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools since 1918, EHS is the recipient of many state and national honors and is known throughout Kentucky for setting a standard of excellence.
Instructional Information
Elizabethtown High School stresses student mastery of basic skills. Students profit from courses that prepare them for either college admission, vocational technical training or the world of work. The faculty and staff are dedicated to assisting each student in developing his or her intellectual, social, aesthetic and emotional abilities. In addition to regular instructional studies, EHS offers Gifted Services and Advanced Placement courses in English, Foreign Language, U.S. History, World History, Calculus, Chemistry and a number of on-line AP classes. EHS also offers seniors the opportunity to take dual credit classes in conjunction with Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.
