The Valley View Education Center houses the Alternative Program for the EIS District. Students are referred for placement and a committee meets to determine if placement at VVEC is appropriate for the student needs.
Middle school and high school students are served via the EAC program which uses a combination of classroom teaching, distance learning, and school created packets plus provides an Opportunity Awareness Class to provide training for success regarding responsibility, relationships, and coping skills.
Elementary students are served via the CTRP program which provides assistance from Communicare staff to enhance student behaviors. Classroom teaching and activities enhance the learning of basic skills.
VVEC also houses our Panther Place Afterschool Program. Parents complete an application and students are accepted into this outstanding program. Students receive homework help and are provided many well-rounded activities and programs.
