Health Force One stops at E’town High School

Health Force One, a mobile medical lab, was at Elizabethtown High School on Thursday and Friday. The state of the art lab has a variety of medical simulations and equipment for students to try. 

Sumrall, Shearer earn trip to Washington D.C.

Anna Sumrall and Grant Shearer were selected to participate in the Washington Youth Tour sponsored by Nolin RECC, Kentucky Electric Cooperatives and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. They were awarded an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C.

E’town’s Braeger heading to West Point

Elizabethtown senior Sydney Braeger is heading to West Point next year, following in her parents’ footsteps. Congressman Brett Guthrie, a Republican who represents the second Congressional District in Kentucky, was at the high school Friday to celebrate Braeger’s appointment to West Point.

EHS only school with four national winners

Elizabethtown High School is no stranger to accomplishing rare feats, but four seniors helped the school achieve a unique distinction this year.

What makes Elizabethtown stand out is it is the only high school in the country to have four National Beta Scholarship winners.
