Selection of Elizabethtown High School Principal Please read.

The Elizabethtown High School Site Based Decision Making Council and Mr. Jon Ballard, Superintendent, are asking for your input in selecting the new Principal.  Please click on the link below to answer 3 questions about the criteria you feel is most important when looking for a new Principal.  Your input as a community member, staff member, student or parent  is a valued part of the selection process.

Shark Tank Winners Ethan Jones & Claire Godfrey

EHS held its own version of Shark Tank at the EPAC.  Ethan Jones and Claire Godfrey were this year's winners with Heat 350. Students in Mrs. Pennington's business class create and present ideas to a panel of judges.  Thank you to this year's judges: Barbara Byrd, Junior Achievement, Matt Tyler, Raymond James/United Bank & Trust, and Teri Bennett, Hardin Co. Sheriff's office.  

 

New Principal at Panther Academy Mrs. Kuhn

Mrs. Carla Kuhn was named the new Principal at Panther Academy to replace the retiring principal, Kelly Graham.  The SBDM council and Mr. Ballard annouced Mrs. Kuhn after a long, detailed selection process.  She's been with EIS since 2005 as a teacher at Helmwood Heights and transferred to Panther Academy when it opened six years ago.

About Us

The Glen Dale Center, located at 1030 Commerce Drive, is a residential facility providing services for teenage girls, ages 12 – 18. This facility is run by Sunrise Children's Services with educational services provided by the Elizabethtown School District. The Glen Dale Center serves up to 20 girls, many of whom have experienced placement disruption, school problems, family problems, neglect, or abuse. Residents receive opportunities to build self-esteem, confidence, and learn the skills to overcome the past. Educational services are provided by three dedicated and caring staff members of the Elizabethtown School District, Helen Wheatley, Paula Crabtree, and Cheryl Morris.
